The American Samoa Environmental Protection Agency, in collaboration with the American Samoa Power Authority (ASPA) has recently updated the Drinking Water Project Priority List (PPL) in accordance with the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). All interested persons wishing to comment on the PPL may submit comments to the AS-EPA office or via email to Leilua Watson (leilua.watson@epa.as.gov). To ensure that they are considered, comments must be submitted in writing on or before January 28, 2022.
US-EPA is soliciting public comments on its action to add the Aunu'u watershed as impaired by enterococcus (fecal indicator bacteria) to American Samoa’s 2020 List of Impaired Waters under Clean Water Act, Section 303(d). All interested persons wishing to comment on US-EPA’s action to add the Aunu'u watershed to American Samoa’s 2020 List of Impaired Waters under Clean Water Act, Section 303(d) may submit written comments to Sunny Elliott (elliott.sunny@epa.gov). To ensure that they are considered, comments must be submitted in writing (by email) on or before March 8, 2022.
